The Center for Stem Cell & Organoid Medicine (CuSTOM) hosted the "Frontiers in Organoid Medicine Symposium" on October 18-19, 2018 at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, which focused on accelerating academic-industry collaborations.
Co-sponsored by CuSTOM and a number of leading biotechnology companies, this international symposium focused on accelerating academic-industry collaborations and featured top academic researchers, industry scientists, as well as junior investigators who are emerging leaders in the field.
The symposium was relatively small (~150 participants) with a range of focused topics from basic research to clinical and commercial translation of iPS cell and organoid technology. Workshop sessions focused on major hurdles and opportunities in Organoid Medicine.
